STOP PRESS !!! We're back after a 6 month absence as we've just moved apartment and some renovations were required. New photos will be published shortly. PLEASE NOTE: any photo with furniture are Real Estate photos - so furniture belongs to previous owners ! We are in the process of installing new flooring - and then fully furnishing. As soon as this is completed, I'll upload current photos. Standby... - but we're keen to start travelling and exchanging again !
We are retired - so we'll seriously consider all offers. NZ and Australia always welcome !! Planning a tour of Europe again in 2019-2020. Offers welcome !
Our abode is a spacious apartment in the heart of the magnificent Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
The complex has a lap swimming pool, heated spa, full size tennis court, BBQ area, gym and much more. Our apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry; indoor dining area; lounge/TV area; and a balcony with magnificent views of the Broadwater just 50 metres away - everything one needs to be comfortable. Ducted air-conditioned (reverse cycle), although you rarely need it. Magnificent views abound. There's also secure basement parking, close to public transport, and all shopping/banking requirements within a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride.

The Gold Coast is Australia's premier beach holiday destination. All shopping and banking facilities are within a 2 km distance and there's plenty of public transport to get you there if you're not able to walk. The beautiful Broadwater is a 10 metre walk and you have magnificent views from the apartment. Marine Parade, Labrador is a quiet area not yet overrun with tourists...YET !! Lovely cafes very close by, fish & chips, ice creams and lots of boating and water sports just out the front door.
The apartment has been recently renovated - so everything is fresh, clean and modern.
We also have a cozy and comfortable 1 bedroom home in tropical far north Queensland - Innisfail - set on 1600 sqm - and just 2 km from the CBD. Tropical gardens, swimming pool, vegetable gardens. We're also happy to exchange - but your own vehicle is necessary. Surrounding areas include: Cairns, 1 hour north. Atherton Tablelands, 1 hour west. Mission Beach, 30 minutes southeast. Tully (Australia's wettest town), 30 minutes south. Cardwell...by the sea - 1 hour south.

I nostri consigli su cosa non perdere in questa zona
A short walk or bus ride (10 minutes) will have you at countless cafes, restaurants, shops and shopping centres. There are plenty of day trip opportunities west into the Gold Coast hinterland where you can marvel at the rainforest, with lots of hiking tracks and native wildlife - or, if you're feeling energetic, you can walk via a beach path along the ocean for around 30 kilometres with plenty of cafes, toilet amenities, water fountains, and endless beach and ocean views. If you're too tired to then walk back home, just jump on a public bus (running every 10 minutes or so) back home.
