• Great holidays in Weyregg - Salzkammergut

  We spent a good time in Weyregg : the house is comfortable and close to the village, the lake and the beach. It is also a good place for cycling and walking in the mountains. We enjoyed visiting the cities of Salzburg, Linz and Vienna (about 2hrs by train). Elisabeth and Andreas, as experimented home exchanger, made things very easy for us so that we had a great holidays in Austria!

  Our trip in your home was a "crush". We have made several swaps, but this one was a moment in a little "paradise". Nature and surroundings are amazing : between turquoise and transparent water in the lac and mountains and forests. We can't believe it was so nice. The situation is perfect, to swim, kayak, walk, climb, ride bicyle, fish, etc.and take advantage of culture. The Salzkammergut is a privileged area : walk on the glacier (Eisriesenwelt), walk with marmots (Sankt Gilgens), swim and canoo in Hallstatt, and go to Salzbourg. And of course, we feel home in your very nice home. We really appreciate your Homelink's experience : very organised and flexible. That means easy going. The communication is really easy. Your welcome was a pleasure. We had the hapiness to savor your fresh garden fruits and vegetables. Thank you so much to swap with us, and to share with us your little paradise !

• What a lovely stay in Weyregg!

  We enjoyed very much the stay in this home near the beautiful Attersee in the Salzkammergut area. This location has so much to offer. The swimming in the lake in the clear water was one of the things we enjoyed most. There are several nice beaches at the lake nearby in walking distance. We also had a beautiful boat trip on the Attersee. There are in addition several other lakes to visit nearby. When we were looking for a city trip, we visited lovely Salzburg. Walking and hiking is also possible nearby and offers wonderful views from Dr Gleissner Weg or Migelsberg for example. Weyregg has also several restaurants offering Austrian food , which we enjoyed. We added a 2 day trip to the Hochkönig region and spent one night in Mühlbach am Hochkönig near Arturhaus. From there we walked to Erichshütte, a very beautiful part of the Salzburger Almenweg enjoying the beautiful Hochkönig scenery. We had a great stay in Weyregg. All was done as agreed. We highly recommand the family and area.
