Notre Livre d'or

  • A memorable Easter in Sopot

We don’t regret Krzysztof and Magda’s invitation to an exchange in Easter. In fact our first invitation from Poland. They had well organised with the car parked at the airport. It was a comfortable and spacious apartment located in a quiet area in Sopot ,closed to the beach and the cycle road. We didn’t miss anything. During the stay we had good contact with WhatsApp. They responded quickly on any request. Two good bicycles was available which’s we used a lot. It was lovely cycling along the beach to Gdańsk and to Gdynia. We enjoyed nice restaurants and comfortable spa treatments a few steps away from the apartment. The train station was a few minutes walk away. Even if we had their car available we preferred to travel by train. We easily reached Gdańsk and had a interesting daytrip to Hel Peninsula. We was impressed that Sopot was such a beautiful seaside resort even in cold weather and we would like to come back in the summer. Luckily we met at the airport both ways and they was really nice people. Thank you Magda and Krzysztof for an excellent exchange !

  • Igjen; tusen hjertelig takk for byttet!

  • We had a great time in poland

Thank you Magda and Krysztof for the exchange. We had a warm welcome at your home and a good time in Poland and in your appartment. The exchange was uncomplicated and you made it possible to come with our friends, that was really great! The weather was not that good, so we could not spend so much time at the beaches which is a pitty because the beaches are really close to the house and I was surprised how many beaches you have. But beside the beaches there´s a lot to do - so time (about 10 days) was too short! All the best for you and good luck for the next exchanges!

  • The place in Sopot is a little gem. So close to the sea front and the train station. It is a lovely flat. The area has so much to offer that I want to go back already. A week was too short but it allowed me to see some of Gdansk, Sopot, Gydnia and go further afield to the Hel peninsula and Stuthoff. I benefited from the use of the family car and Krzysztof and Magda made me feel very welcome. We kept in touch with each other during the week and it was a delight for my first long term foreign exchange. Max is no trouble at all. He is independent and set in his ways but I was pleased to take care of him as he is mostly outside during the day. Magda and Krzysztof and family took care of my dog (definitely the short straw) and my home was as I left it when I returned. A big success!

  • nice place to explore Polands wonderful seaside even the house is right in the middle of a famous vacation down it is nice and calm We had a very nice week in Poland we went to Gdansk, Gdynia, Hel, Leba and Walburg did some of the trips by bike and loved it very much. We tried some polish restaurant and liked it more than the italien or turkish ones thank you very much to let us see Poland from a very autentic view Greeting from Bavaria Gesa

  • We had a wonderful Easter in Sopot!

Even though the weather was cold and rainy, the days went very fast, as the surrounding areas offers plenty of family activities. We went to the AquaPark in Reda, which is truly the cleanest and most wonderful indoor aquapark with great slides for older children and a safe pool with small slides for the little ones. For our youngsters, the trampline park JumpCity also was a favourite - with very large trampolines inside old warehouse buildings. To be found both in Gdansk and Gdynia. For our toddler, the favourite was Loopy`s World - a large playground inside an old warehouse just outside Gansk city center. The whole family enjoyed the great shopping centres Galeria Baltycka and the Fashion House Outlet with brand stores only, just outside Gdansk. Gdansk old town is well worth a visit, and we spent a few hours strolling around the streets. Sopot town is also very charming, and the pedestrian street is situated a few minutes walk from the apartment, as well as the beach. We are planning to go back during summer next time, to fully enjoy the town. Last, but not least, the Polish food is so underrated! We enjoyed lunches and dinners out every day, and tried to find the most authentic food. Especially the soup Zurek, served in a bread bowl, was a favourite on cold days. We are very grateful that the owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and arranged almost everything needed for our toddler. This being our first exchange, we are very happy everything went so smoothly. Thank you very much Magda and Krzysztof, Barek and Maciej for a good experience :-) Best regards from Aina and Geir, Oda, Hedda and Ella

  • Appartamento confortevole e pulito

Ho passato alcuni giorni a Sopot, bella cittadina sul mare. Appartamento confortevole.

  • Wonderful stay at exiting Sopot

We had a wonderful holiday in Sopot. The area is perfect for a family holiday. The beach and bathing is underrated, the long beach is really inviting. The weather was not perfect when we visited, but nevertheless we had long and relaxing days. We also went to both Gdansk onf Gdynia. Gdansk is a beautiful city, and the st.Dominics fair is well worth visiting. Gdynia is charming also, but in a diffent way. The appartment was perfect for our needs. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and nice. We enjoyed several meals on the terrace. The location is well within walking distance of central Sopot, and the train station. We can nothing but warmly recomend this appartment for exchange. The owners are a very nice family also well worth exchanging house with. They have our best appreciatons and recommendations.
