We had a wonderful stay in Judy and Roger's home in Nelson and thank them very much for their warm, friendly welcome. The home and view was so beautiful we felt that we could stay put for the whole time and just enjoy being there. We didn't of course and got out and about and saw as much as we could in the time we had. Nelson is a lovely city and we would encourage anyone of thinking of an exchange there to do so.

Roger and Judy are gracious hosts and our communication was easy and enjoyable. Their beautiful spacious home with a great view, very detailed home instructions, and their immaculate comfortable car made for a wonderful exchange! There were also ample maps and tour pamphlets for the area. We enjoyed the abundant garden as well. It was a fabulous exchange!

A great exchange, with wonderful people. We car swapped very smoothly at the airport each way, and thoroughly enjoyed their wonderful large home, with spectacular views over the sea. So much to do in this area, and we were able to tour up to Golden Bay and visit Farewell Spit, and nose around the Nelson region, visiting lovely places we hadn't been to before. The home was perfect for relaxing in when the weather played up. Very enjoyable.

First, the home had everything one could possibly need, the layout was great for the four of us with plenty of room to spread out. The home sits on a hill with a large deck where we had coffee in the morning and wine in the evening as we watched the tide come in and go out. Located within 20 minutes to Nelson, it was very convenient to groceries, restaurants and shopping. Second, Judy and Roger were wonderful hosts. From picking us up at the airport to allowing us to pick fresh vegetables and fruits from their garden. They even went out of their way to find and fly a Hawaiian flag for us. The meal Judy prepared for us was delicious as was all the other goodies and drinks left for us. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Thank you Judy and Roger.

We had a brilliant time in Roger and Judy's home. Their spacious and comfortable home was more than we expected and they had ensured that everything was set up superbly for us in a complicated series of exchanges The deck and the view is something we will never forget. Judy and Roger were generous with their arrangements and sharing a last night meal with them before they gave us a lift to the coach station was a real pleasure. We'd thoroughly recommend the exchange.

Rodger and Judy's Nelson home is a superb combination being comfortable, terifically organised, with the immeasurable bonus of fantastic sea and mountain views from every bedroom and their sheltered deck and eating area. Our family spent Christmas there and it was an absolute pleasure to cook in the well equipped kitchenand well stocked larder. We loved visiting Nelson with its characterful markets and gallery's. Day trips to the Nelson Lakes and Abel tasman kept us fit with hiking and we also relaxed with some great food and wine tastings at the local vinyards. We were grateful for the loan of the car which allowed us to explore the local area extensively. This exchange was a high light of our trip to New Zealand. Thank You

Landing in Nelson at our host's house was like landing in paradise. The house was large and spacious and had a million dollar view. Every last detail was addressed to make us feel at home. A delicious meal was provided on our arrival. The owners checked back with us regularly to ensure the exchange was going well. Our national flag was flying from their flagpole when we arrived. We had room for guests and the house had every possible convenience.

Judy and Roger had picked us up from the airport to their gorgeous and so clean house. We had a delicious lunch prepared by Judy with succulent bread made by Roger. It was a real pleasure to talk with them. The view from the house is simply amazing. There are many things to do in the area. There are many museum and art galleries.(Suter Art Gallery, Parker Gallery, Nelson Provincial Museum) Very interesting. We visited Queens' Garden; wonderful We had great sunny days for walking and hiking. We enjoyed Nelson Tantagee trail, Maitai cave trail and particularly Abel Tasman park, fantastic! Everything was perfect in this swap. Thank you so much Judy and Roger!

Our 10 day stay in Nelson was a great experience and we loved their home and the ever-changing views and sun-sets - the house is near the city, though you need to be a 'mountain-goat' walking back, as the road is steep, so we suggest that guests use their car. Roger and Judy were amazing and helpful hosts and the house was very clean and well presented - 5 star rating from us thanks guys!

We expected that Nelson would be a great exchange destination, and it certainly was, but Judy and Roger's care in making sure we were comfortable went far beyond our expectations. Their home is spacious, warm and immaculately maintained, with every possible convenience. And the view! Ever changing water views across Tasman Bay to the Southern Alps, sometimes snow-capped, and some brilliant sunsets. Fantastic memories, thank you so much Judy and Roger.
