Our family consists of Aafke (47) with her two daughters, Lize Mare (14) and Lola (11). Aafke is a photographer and yoga teacher. Lize Mare plays guitar and attends high school (2nd class), and Lola Jente plays the piano and is in the 7th grade of Elementary School.

Description de notre maison d'échange
We live 5km from center of Utrecht, close to the Maxima Park, shops and supermarkets and on cycling distance of the old centre of Utrecht. It's a very spacious, clean and (child-)friendly neighbourhood, where people know each other, because the houses were built about 10 years ago.
The ground floor (one big space with living room, dining room and kitchen in the middle) opening onto a neat garden.
The first floor contains 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower. And the attick is one big spacious room with a double bed and an office.

Our neighbourhoud is very child friendly with a lot of families and spacious places to play. In the front of the house no cars are allowed and there's a long stroke of grass where the children can play.

From our house, it's a short walk to the beautiful Maximapark, and to Castellum Hoge Woerd. Castellum Hoge Woerd is new built Roman fort containing a 2000 year old Roman ship, an archeology museum, a restaurant, a theatre and a petting zoo with gardens. Castle The Haar is on a 15 minutes biking distance. There's also a swimming pool 5 minutes bij bike near our house.
