nous avons adoré notre séjour à Delft et l' appartement de Mary et Arthur est superbe et très bien situé. nous avons sillonné la ville à travers ses canaux enchanteurs. Mary et Arthur nous ont gâté avec beaucoup de bonnes spécialités . un bel échange homelink nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous, dans un bel environnement.

Very nice apartment and very well located. During this week we were able to do the great classics of the Netherlands: Delft, Tulips, Moulins, Amsterdam and the Rijsmuseum, Den Hag, Halkmar, Gouda. A very good memory.

It was a real pleasure to meet Mary and Arthur. We had a real crush on Delft, an ancient city full of charm and tranquility. From their ultra comfortable apartment it is very easy to access public transport to get to The Hague, Gouda, or the surprising Rotterdam. The weather was on our side and we were able to take full advantage of this beautiful country where people are always helpful and welcoming. A memorable experience. Thanks to Mary and Arthur for all their advice and the quality of their welcome.

Een prima appartement op een prima plek, hartje Delft. Appartement van alle gemakken voorzien, rustig gelegen, mooie inrichting en fijne keuken, op loop(fiets)afstand van het centrum, boven een supermarkt (Jumbo). Mary en Arthur zijn erg gastvrij Delft biedt veel geschiedenis maar ook een goed winkelbestand en leuke terrassen (bij mooi weer).

We enjoyed. The apartment was an excellent base for visiting the historic (almost car-free) center of Delft. Everything was within walking distance. Delft is beautiful, with excellent catering. The apartment is comfortable and the host and hostess received us warmly. You can visit the surrounding beautiful cities and the beach, but this is not necessary, because in Delft there are more than enough high lights. In short, we hope to return to Arthur and Mary again.

We received a warm welcome by Mary and Arthur in their spacious apartement. Good place in the parking garage for our car. A modern colorful and quiet apartment where we quickly felt at home. Supermarket around the corner like other shops, restaurants and of course beautiful old Delft. We rented a boat in the Bieschbosch, visited Rotterdam and did several tours on our bikes e.b. in the dunes around Wassenaar.

Mary and Arthur have done so much to make our first home exchange a memorable one. The apartment is modern and very light, situated only a few minutes walk from the historic centre of Delft and only one streetcar away from Scheveningen Beach. We hope to be able to repeat this perfect exchange!

Mary and Arthurs spacious, spotless apartment is situated in a new building complex with all its plusses, like a lot of light, modern hi tech kitchen, spotless bathroom, balcony and elevator but at the same time is very centrally situated, only a few minutes walk from the main station, which we were very happy for. The apartments is a great base to see historical Delft but also to undertake trips to Leiden, Den Haag , Rotterdam or Dordrecht, a stunning town which we also fell in love with. Downstairs in the house there is great food store Jumbo, selling also half ready made exotic food from all over the world. We, art, architecture and food lovers, we were very content with a stay at Mary and Arthurs place. We found Dutch people in general not only very tall but also very kind and mild. A great place to visit.

Belle semaine de flânerie printanière le long des quais de Delft au rythme quotidien des habitants. Nous avons apprécié de circuler très facilement et rapidement en tram et train et avons pu marcher et prendre le temps de visiter les beaux musées de La Haye et Leyde grâce à l'appartement idéal de Mary et Arthur. Très spacieux et lumineux, les fauteuils y bienvenus le soir... Nous avons eu beaucoup de chance de faire ce bel échange avec des inconditionnels de ce mode de voyage. Merci à eux de nous l'avoir proposé!

Vielen Dank Mary und Arthur für eine wunderbare Woche in Delft. Wir fanden eine neue, gemütliche, Wohnung vor, in der wir uns sofort wohl fühlten. Die Lage ist exzellent, wunderbare Betten, sogar deutsches Fernsehen. Man kann fußläufig die mittelalterliche Innenstadt erreichen, mit ihren schmalen Straßen, den Grachten und Brücken, der wunderbaren Architektur. Wir hatten die Räder dabei, haben sie auch täglich genutzt, sind bis Den Haag geradelt, von dort aus bis Scheveningen an der Nordsee. Zur anderen Seite liegt Rotterdam, ebenfalls ganz nah. Empfehlenswert das Vermeer-Centrum, Jan Vermeer ist in Delft geboren, und hat fast sein ganzes Leben dort gelebt. Seine Gemälde hängen in den großen Museen der Welt, in Delft sind Reproduktionen zu sehen, aber zu jedem Bild die Geschichte, und das Leben von Jan Vermeer. Delft ist eine quirlige Stadt, in unserer Woche waren die Jazztage, die Ankunft der Neustudierenden, und es war immer etwas los. Sehr viele Eindrücke haben wir mitgenommen, und es war sehr, sehr schön!

We enjoyed meeting Arthur and Mary and exchanging homes. Their apartment in Delft was very warm, comfortable and convenient. Traveling throughout The Netherlands was very easy from their home, the train station is very convenient. We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Mary and Arthur’s home in Delft. Their condo is bright and cheerful and a delight to come home to each evening. We were comfortable the entire time we were there. Mary was terrific with all of the details of how things worked and where to find things in and around Delft and surrounding areas. Their home is a 10 minute walk to the main square in the town and to the train station. That allowed us to travel out from Delft to DenHaag , Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht and the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens ... and even Paris.. We couldn’t have asked for a better home stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the very friendly and comfortable house of Mary and Arthur. Their location is very good, within easy walking distance of the old centre of Delft. The town is lively and it has beautiful historic sites.

Mary and Arthur are perfect hosts: their house is lovely, spacious and very well located. They provided a lot of information about what to visit in Delft and around. The Hague, Rotterdam and even Amsterdam are nearby, so it was very easy to go there. I enjoyed very much my stay. Thanks again to both of you.

Delft is a beautiful, typical, Dutch town with a rich history, lots of interesting sites, nice musea and good restaurants and pubs. The house is on walking distance of the historic centre of Delft, very comfortable and situated in a quiet area. We visited "De porseleyne fles", museum het Prinsenhof, the old and new church, but only walking through the little streets and canals is a visit to Delft is worth the effort.

We had a very nice time in the comfortable and beatifully decorated house of Mary and Arthur. Delft is a charming city, and Mary and Arthur provided us with everything we needed and some more extra's. They were perfect hosts, we felt very welcome in their home.

We hebben heerlijke dagen in Delft gehad. Het mooie huis ligt op een zeer gunstige plek in Delft. Delft is een echte aanrader en zeker op de plek waar wij zaten. Het ruilen in eigen land is ons heel goed bevallen en willen we zeker vaker doen.
