Fabrice (49) and Caroline (46) + 3 teenagers of 18, 16 and 15. We always wanted to make exchanges but didn't have a house organised for it. We moved to Tours in 2016 and chose this knew house also because it offers very simple opportunity of exchange and very nice things to do around. We hope to find nice opportunities of exchange and to meet nice people.

Description de notre maison d'échange
Family house in the heart of the Châteaux of the Loire Valley / 1 hour from Paris / 2 hours from the Ocean.
We are located in the center of Tours (2 minutes walk from the train station). The house was built around 1900 and has been renewed in a modern style. The garden is big enough to feel confortable and small enough not to be a pain. There is a garage for 1 extra car if needed.
On the North, the house is on Boulevard Heurteloup, quite a big one but there is no noise inside of the house. The access to the highway to Paris or Bordeaux is 2 minutes. It is also 2 minutes to get to the station and 5 minutes to walk to the shopping zone. Tours is a very nice city comonly called "The small Paris"
On the South, we have 2 nice terraces and a small garden were you can relax and have a barbecue.
The main curiosity are the Châteaux of the Loire Valley, but also consider the proximty of Paris (1 hour by high speed train and 2,5 hours by car). The area is very wellknown for the landscape and also the forests of the "Sologne

Our house is in the center of tours, at five minutes walking you can find may bars, restaurants, les Galeries lafayettes, le Printemps, the theatre, cinema, the station if you want to visit paris ( 1 hour )
The main curiosity are the Châteaux of the Loire Valley ( Chenonceau, Azay le rideau, Cheverny) . The area is very wellknown for the landscape and also the forests of the "Sologne".
Our region is also famous for its wines. You can visit many wineries (chinon,vouvray..)
