Old XVIII sheepfold, now turned into a small and charming holiday house in the very heart of the Luberon. Enjoy the tile covered terrace with a gorgeous view on the countryside as an outside dining room or as a place for a rest on a sun lounger. Oppedette is a quiet village, far away from the crowd, that's why we love it. Many lovely towns in the area (Simiane la Rotonde, Banon, Viens, Menerbes, Roussillon) but also famous spots : Gordes, Baux de Provence, Gorges du Verdon, Avignon, L'isle sur la Sorgue. Many hiking trails just down to the house. Famous Provence market at Apt. Route de la lavande. Please note the house is not adapted for families with young children, because the second bedroom has a separate entrance.
As we live in Paris, during summer we would prefer a house with a garden in a quiet place with nature, but we could also appreciate be in a vibrant city with many cultural visits (in that case no car needed please). During summer, we would appreciate to have not far a place for swimming. Surprise us !
