We are a couple in our early 60's retired and now our two children are grown up and have both left home we are both keen to explore places we have not seen around the world. We are flexible on exchange periods and for long haul would prefer a minimum of 4 weeks.It will be the 2 of us travelling. We are a social couple who enjoy both time together and with others.
Stewart is a keen golfer and member of the local home club and enjoys anything to do with sports , participating or watching ,especially our local Exeter Chiefs rugby team.Tracey enjoys reading, walking , fishing and swimming, particularly in a warm sea.We both enjoy cooking and love experimenting with meals together with an appropriate glass of wine.
We are a professional couple ,Stewart spent a career of 32 years around law enforcement work, nationally and internationally and Tracey ran her on retail business in the town we now live in Devon for 8 years.
We will respect your home as if it were ours.

A 2 storey apartment providing 2 good size double bedrooms, both en-suite with a further walkin shower room.Open plan apartment with kitchen, dining area and good size lounge.On 2 levels providing an outside bistro dining option on balcony( 1st level) and a lovely terrace(2nd level) providing sea views .An ideal setting for a bar-b_que.
Situated on a small private residential complex with lovely pool complex and gardens.Property is situated in the golf del sur region and is nestled between 2 championship quality courses , both within 15 minutes walk.The beach front is only 300 metres away.With a bus stop outside the complex it is easy to explore other parts of this diverse island.

Our apartment is nestled on the southern coast located in the golf del sur region on the island only 15 minutes by car from the south airport.Apart from great championship golf in the sunshine on your doorstep all year round, the area has much more to offer including panoramic views ,incredible blue seas and colourful villages.Mountains dominate the distant skyline. Nearby shops and quaint resorts like the charming fishing village of Los Abrigos with its little harbour with boats bobbing on the water and the traditional Spanish seaside town of El Medano within easy reach.
The area is recognised as being very friendly with a large selection of restaurants and bars dotted around.International cuisine is served in a variety of restaurants that line the beautiful promenade.Listen to the sound of the waves as you stroll in the sunshine feeling a gentle breeze in the air.

Drive , cycle or hike over the Teno and Anaga mountains,absorbing the amazing views, and explore the teide national park (a UNESCO World heritage site)and the famous and largest mountain in Spain Mount Teide.
For the foodie lovers fish is a major part of island life and numerous quality restaurants can be found along the coast.The mussels, langoustines, tuna and sardines are particularly plentiful and caught locally.
The annual Carnaval de tenerife is described as only second to Rio and is an amazing event.Having been fortunate to see it, I can say first hand that the hype is correct.
For the thrill seekers Siam park voted the best water park in Europe awaits.
If you enjoy outdoor activities, it is all on the doorstep:snorkelling/scuba,surfing,deep sea fishing, body boarding, green bowls, golf,cycling, walking, you name it.
Drive through banana plantations and visit the tenerife vineyards and pick up some local wine for dinner. Being an island of just 785 sq miles,everywhere is easily accessible and car hire on the island very reasonable.
With average winter temperatures between 20-22 degrees and summer between 26-28 degrees, the island is great all year, that's why so many visit.The Canaries are a group of islands ideal for some island hopping, and all offer something different.
