• The Cottage on Darling St has a pretty, street facing leafy courtyard in a gracious historic house with an expansive, tasty menu. Also suitable for a casual drop in.
• Gigi's is a popular, relaxed Italian place with pavement seating across from Gladstone Park
• Dick's Hotel is at the end of Stewart St and serves well priced bistro/Australian style food in a large, sheltered courtyard, 2 minute walk. It is also a pub.

• You will find it hard to settle on a cafe as there are dozens on the Peninsula

• Tom Uren walking trail is relatively new. His old home is marked by a plaque in the street adjoining ours.
• Joggers will find many pathways that run beside the water as we are on a peninsula.
• It is possible to walk or cycle into the city via the Anzac Bridge on safe pathways all the way.

• Anywhere around Sydney. Try the Sydney ferry system from the wharf at the bottom of Darling St. It will connect with some amazing trips around Sydney Harbour
