John and Jan are a mature couple who are still actively working. Jan is a Colour & Image Consultant and still works Part- Time. Jan also paints and is interested in Art and Fashion and loves gardening and being creative. John is Head of Education at the South West Tafe, WARRNAMBOOL Victoria in We are involved in local community groups. We have an extended family of adult children and a number of young grandchildren are starting to arrive! We are looking to exchange with people with similar values to our own and who will respect our home and belongings as we would. We live in a very peaceful surburb of WARRNAMBOOL.
HomeLink Members are welcome to come any time during the year, what ever times suit. If HomeLink members living in Victoria would like to exchange for a weekend away or long weekend, we would be very interested in exchanging or chating to you.
We have some many interests in our area. You will be able to enjoy our beautiful Mineral Hot Springs. Also have Hydrotherapy Pools. Magnificent Beaches, walking tracks, bike riding tracks. It’s now been voted the most Liveable City in Australia for 2019.
We have recently moved into our newly built house.

Description de notre maison d'échange
Hi and welcome to our lovely home and our own Main Residence in Ocean Grove, Victoria, Australia! Our modern home and its amenities will suit many people looking for a peaceful and relaxing coastal getaway. Located just 30 minutes from Geelong, and the start of the Great Ocean Road at Torquay it is a great base from which to visit coastal Victoria. They are welcome to use our Large Kitchen for cooking. and an alfresco (with BBQ). There is a private rear garden, double garage, and extra off street parking. The kitchen/dining/living room have polished floorboards, the rest of the house is carpeted with tiles in the wet areas. The main bedroom has an en suite, There is central gas heating and evaporative air conditioning throughout the house. The garden is low maintenance and has a watering systems installed. Our Guests have off street parking and if caravaning will have access to off street parking behind our secured side gate.
Our house is only a 5 minute drive to local surf beaches, and a lovely lake and park are a short walk away at the end of the street.

Description de notre quartier et ses alentours
Ocean Grove is central to all Bellarine beaches, wineries and other attractions - it is an ideal place to explore the region. There are plenty of places to visits and things to do (think wineries, cafes, beach walks, mini golf, a ferry cruise, steam train ride or sightseeing). The seaside town is chock full of cafes, restaurants, fashion boutiques and shops of all kinds to take care of your everyday needs, or if the beach is not your thing. There are over six wineries within 15 minutes of home, and you will also find a number of small roadside stalls selling local produce. There is a monthly Farmers Market in the main park behind the shopping centre, as well as the Kingston Park Rotary Market on the first Sunday of every month.
Located in Ocean Grove which is just under 90 minutes from Melbourne, and 30 minutes from Victoria’s largest regional city Geelong. It is less than an hour to Avalon Airport, Victoria’s second airport and shuttle buses services are available.

There are a host of local attractions at all of the seaside villages on the Bellarine Peninsula. A short 10 minute drive will get you to Barwon Heads or Point Lonsdale, a 15 minute drive will reach Queenslcliffe, Drysdale and Clifton Springs. Portarlington and St Leonards are only 20 minutes. Heading down the Surfcoast there is Torquay just 30 minutes away, and Anglesea and Lorne each a further 15 minutes on respectively. The city of Geelong is only 25 km away and has many cafes, restuarants, cinemas, parks, beaches and major shopping facilities.
From Queenscliffe you can catch a ferry across Port Phillip Bay to the pictureseque Mornington Peninsula and explore Sorrento and Portsea.
