We live with our daughter in the middle of Berlin (Leona, 16 years). Our apartment is a typical Berlin building with floorboards and two balconies (135m2). It is located in the front building on the third floor and is very bright, sunny and big (5 rooms). The apartment is located in the district Prenzlauer Berg. This is very well known for its beautiful old houses, many cozy cafes, inexpensive and diverse restaurants and the proximity of Mauerpark. Nearby there is a U + S train station (2 minutes) from which all destinations of the city (Alexanderplatz, Potsdamer Platz .....) are very easy to reach. I have a season ticket, which is often used by the visitors. On weekends even 2 adults and 2 children can use it for free.
We have a little cat who is always happy when she does not have to be alone. But we also like to bring the cat to my mom!! As you wish.
Berlin is an interesting city for old and young. There is a lot to see (museums, exhibitions, flea markets, theaters and much more). If you need a rest from the city, they are also very fast by train or by car in nature. On the outskirts of Berlin there are many lakes. Tips from us then very much like personally more. Many friends of ours live in the house and you are happy to help with any questions or problems.
