Very comfortable clean house in lovely part of England with lots to do. Easy access to St Albans and London. Beautiful friendly cat for company.

Wieder einmal eine gute Haustauscherfahrung, sogar eine ganz herausragende! In dem geschmackvollen, sehr komfortablen Haus und dem wunderschönen Garten konnten wir wunderbar entspannen und ausruhen von den vielfältigen Aktivitäten , die in der Region möglich sind. Mehrfach nutzten wir die Chance, unkompliziert nach London zu fahren, wir wanderten in der wunderschönen Landschaft um Ampthill herum und konnten dabei direkt vom Haus aus starten. Dank der wertvollen Tipps der Gastgeber konnten wir sehr unterschiedliche Attraktionen besichtigen wie das Buyan-Museum und das Museum des Intelligence Corpes in Bedford, St Alban, Cricket Spiele des lokalen Vereins und vieles mehr. Sehr freundlich wurden wir zudem von der vornehmen und kontaktfreudigen Katze Verity empfangen. Wir hatten einen sehr anregenden und zugleich erholsamen Urlaub an diesem schönen Ort.

We had a very relaxing stay in Ampthill, and took advantage of the local Italian restuarant, walks in The Great park and a walk around the town. Also visited Dunstable Downs and the Tree Cathedral. Thanks Chris and Suzanne and Verity (the cat) for making us very welcome.

Ampthill is a really charming little town and there are a lot of interesting things to do and visit all around . Suzanne and Chris are really kind they did the best for us .They prepared many ideas of visits and walks and many maps were left ... Thanks you so much.

Enjoyed our stay - a lovely garden with Verity, the cat, to keep us company. Ampthill is very pleasant and conveniently placed for interesting visits including St Albans and Wrest Park.

Successful week in comfortable house and in nice region. Ererything was perfect.

It was our first exchange after 14 years and for the first time as a couple without children. But we really enjoyed staying in a big house in a town with many walking possibilities and spectacular views in the countryside. The neighbours were very helpful on arrival. We also went to Cambridge, St. Albans and Houghton. Our exchange partners have a nice cat and we loved taking care of Wilfred.

We haven't been to that part of England before so we enjoyed everything. Great experience -must see- was the visit of the Military Intelligence Museum at Chicksands (special thanks to Chris who managed everything). Oxford, Cambridge, Wrest Park and many other locations ...great! Many thanks to Suzanne and Chris!
