With amazing ocean views from all bedrooms and living room, and beautifully tiled viewing deck, our home is a 1930 Spanish Revival Bungalow.

The house is on a very quiet street only half a mile, or a ten minute walk, from Monterey Bay Aquarium (2 guest passes available), Cannery Row, the Monterey Coastal trail, and downtown Pacific Grove (with many restaurants, shops, a movie theater, etc.). Carmel by the Sea, 17-Mile Drive, Point Lobos, and the world famous Pebble Beach Golf Links (among several other gorgeous golf courses) are only 15 minutes away by car.
Pacific Grove is known as America's last hometown, and boasts more houses on the California historic registry than any other city in the state. It's also known as Butterfly Town USA because of its Monarch butterfly sanctuary. It is a golfer's playground, and a marine mammal-lover's paradise. In addition to the sights and activities of the immediate vicinity, PG is a great jumping off point to lots of other thrilling and scenic destinations. Driving less than 45 minutes in any direction will take you to the breathtaking vistas of Big Sur, the historic roller coasters and deep fried Twinkies of the Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, the National Steinbeck Center, and the rodeo in Salinas. The area has amazing farm fresh produce year-round, whale watching, kelp forests for the SCUBA divers among you, and adorable harbor seals and sea otters for everyone.
In case that's not enough for you to make it your ultimate vacation destination, PG is the perfect place to stop for a few nights on your road trip between southern California (2.5 hours from Hearst Castle, 4 hours from Santa Barbara, 5.5 hours from Disneyland) and northern California (1.5 hours to Stanford University, 2 hours to the Golden Gate Bridge, 2.5 hours to Napa Valley). But if you're flying here instead, we are a 15 minute drive to Monterey regional airport (see https://www.montereyairport.com/destinations for airline and destination info), 75 minutes from San Jose International Airport, and 95 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.

PLEASE NOTE:
Our bathrooms have walk in showers only (no bathtubs), which may be a problem for families with small children.
Also, we have 1 cat, and although he can be kept out of most of the house, you will not be required to care for him, and the house will be clean and odor-free when you arrive, if you dislike or are allergic to cats this will not be a good match :(
