Notre maison

Description de notre maison d'échange

We moved into our appartment in 2015 after an extensive renovation. It has a space of 110 m2 (1150 sqft), spread out in 4 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 corridors. There is one balcony to the east - ideal for having breakfast - and one to the west.
Cooking and good dining is important to us, so the kitchen is equipped with all you need. A state-of-the-art induction cooker has been just installed. We don't smoke.
As we live in the 3. floor there is a lift to make it easier.

We are members of homelink since 1991 and had about 30 swaps since than.

Description de notre quartier et ses alentours

Our neighbourhood is quiet, safe and green. A graveyard and a park are close by.
A 10 minutes walk to the east brings you into the centre of Ottensen. 50 years ago this quarter had been full of manufacturing plants and the small houses of factory workers. But by the time Ottensen transformed into a place where many young people live. There are countless boutiques and restaurants from different parts of the world.
In a 5 minutes you get to the "Elbchaussee". From there you have a beautiful view over the wide stream of the river Elbe. It's an ideal place to spot big container vessels.
Do you like good fresh fish? If you like to walk you get in 30 min. to the "Fischmarkt Altona". But that is worth it - you wouldn't get better fish in Hamburg.
