Beautiful, very warm and amazing memories. That's how we think back to Wales and the Jones family. It was just fantastic! A house where you immediately feel at home, an incredibly sweet family and a very beautiful country. This is highly recommended swap!

With this house exchange we started into a great adventure. Our last exchange destinations were always accessible by car. But this time we flew! Our first swap with a car swap was a new challenge because of course we first had to get used to driving on the left. We were so excited and couldn't wait, also because we'd had a lot of contact with Jenny and Stu before. The communication was perfect. Our vacation was a great experience from the first minute. Jenny and Stu have a great house and welcomed us with various Welsh delicacies and a stocked fridge. There were lots of toys in the house and in the garden, beach equipment (buggy, neos) and bicycles that we were allowed to use and had a lot of fun with. But the best thing was her excursion guide. So much well put together information on places to visit made it easy for us to get to know Wales. For that alone we award 11 out of 10 stars. In conclusion, we can say that everything worked wonderfully and we can absolutely recommend the Jones family for house swapping. Patrick und Daniela

We had a lovely exchange over Easter 2022. Jenny and Stu and family went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. They kindly allowed us to invite children and grandchildren, who joined us for the Easter weekend. The house was extremely comfortable and spacious for all of us. The grandchildren loved the garden, trampoline, swings, slides, Wendy House, toys and books. Jenny and Stu left thoughtful gifts , flowers and groceries. Their communication before, during and after the exchange was excellent. Dinas Powys is a fantastic location for an exchange. You would not need a car for this exchange as the house is near shops, a railway station, country walks, bus stops and take away food outlets. The local pubs are about a 15 minute walk away. We went to the beach at Barry Island, Roath Park Lake, Cardiff - castle, arcades & market, Penarth, Cardiff Bay and Senedd building. There is so much to do in this area. Thank you Jenny and Stu- we would love to exchange again one day. ?

We had a great exchange with Jenny and Stu. Everything was well organised, we had great contact before and throughout the swap. The house was great for our family and the location was good too. There was lots to do including; shopping in Cardiff, beach days on the Gower Peninsular, trip to Barry Island, Cardiff swimming pool and Margam Country park which has cycle trails and Go Ape. The house was very comfortable and it was great to have such a big garden and Netflix!

With children of extremely similar ages it was an absolutely ideal exchange for us. Their playroom and garden were packed with things to keep them busy and they had kept a lot of baby equipment for us to use too for our little one. There was plenty of room for us all despite us being a family of 6. We visited when lockdown had only just been lifted but there was still plenty to do and lovely beaches. They have a fab walkable playground too. Really nice area to live and holiday in. House well set up for exchanges they seem to have thought of everything! Would highly recommend as exchange partners.

Thank you so much for the lovely welcome when we arrived, a clean house with all the basics left, lovely flowers and delicious Welsh cakes. We really enjoyed the stay and discovering the local and surrounding areas.

We had a wonderful time in Dinas Powys. The house from Jenny and Stu was wonderful and we loved all the details in the house. We had an very good communication before, during and after the trip and we are still very sorry, that there was no chance to meet personally yet. We hat a lovely welcome with nice presents and flowers. Jenny and Stu gave us lots of information about the area and about the house. It was our first exchange, so we were a bit afraid what will happen with our car and our house, but we couldn't get any better exchange-partner than Jenny and Stu. They treated everything very carefully and everything was clean and ok when we came back in our house. We really can recommend Jenny and Stu as a exchange-partner and we would change with them whenever they would like to do that again. Dear Jenny and Stu - thank you for that great experience!!!

We loved this house. It is in a quiet green area within 4 mins' reach of everything you need. Shops, restaurants and green landscapes for a little walk or run. The house looks little and cosy, but there really is a lot of space! All of us had our own room to sleep in- and we are a family of 5... It was clean, lovely freshly renovated and really great to spend 3 weeks in. Although my husband always told me that he doesn´t like cats he fell in love with Bridget. She is a really perfect little cat! We enjoyed her very much. The location is excellent: 10 min to the beach and Cardiff. There were so many things to do we could have easily spent more time... Jenny was always reachable and it was easy to clarify all questions we had- even during the holiday. We found a lot of suggestions about what to do in our vacation. The neighbours are very friendly- greetings to Mary and Don- and they helped whenever we had questions. The exchange of our cars was very exciting for us but really clever. The car is great and was big enough for 5 people. We loved this exchange and can warmly recommend Jenny and Stu and their house!!!

We had a fantastic holiday at Jenny and Stu’s beautiful and cosy house near Cardiff. Their house and garden were really spacious, comfortable and tidy, so we had an absolutely lucky time. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, in the morning sun with a cup of tea or during sunset, for example. Just as it was a pleasure to us and our five-year-old child to play in their big garden. By the way, their house is particularly suitable if you have children. Cardiff with its vibrant centre is only a short 10 minute drive (or 20 minutes by train) away. We really liked this city, because it offered so many things to discover, such as historical sites as well as shopping and leisure facilities. The place was also a perfect starting point for day trips to the beautiful beaches and small towns at the Welsh coast. We also liked their home town Dinas Powys for its quiet and relaxing atmosphere as well as for its surrounding countryside. Thanks to the information, including some special insider hints they gave us, we got around very well. We felt so much at home at Jenny and Paul’s house that we would come again any time and will never forget this holiday. We got our house back in the same way we left it. We can warmly recommend Jenny and Stu for a swap!
