Our neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. There are tennis courts and a bowling green in this street and a lovely duck pond just round the corner. There is a local supermarket just a five minute walk away. A further five minute walk takes you over the River Tay into Perth town centre where you will find Perth Museum & Art Gallery, Perth Concert Hall,The Fergusson Gallery, Perth Theatre and a multi-screen cinema. There are many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops as Perth is the main town for a large rural area. It is a picturesque town and has many green areas and good walking trails. Perth is well situated for exploring Scotland as it is only an hour's drive to Edinburgh, Glasgow or St Andrews, and a couple of hours to Inverness. Public transport links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness are good. It is also less than an hour to drive to Stirling Castle or Glamis Castle and there are many golf courses in and around Perth. Edinburgh International Festival is one of the largest arts festivals in the world, held every August.
