Paul and Vicki will be travelling and we would like to bring our well behaved small dog, Boo, with us. Your pets are welcome in our home. We don't plan to visit the USA, Australia or New Zealand in the near future.

Description de notre maison d'échange
We are looking for swaps in the UK, Europe or beyond, EXCLUDING Australia, New Zealand and North America PLEASE NOTE. Happy to consider any requests, including from 2 days (in the UK) to 3 weeks. If no flights are involved we would want to bring our small dog Boo.
Beautiful 3/4 bedroom barn conversion with magnificent views near the village of Bentham. The house has broadband and all modern conveniences, with a big garden, two wood-burning stoves and central heating. There is a hot tub in the back garden with those incredible views.
In the larger lounge there is a big screen, DVD, projector and 7.1 surround sound. In the smaller lounge there is a big TV, DVD and 5.1 surround sound.
The downstairs is tiled throughout, with underfloor heating in two areas. Dogs are welcome downstairs.
There are two bantam hens who live in the back garden, but only need minimum care. Also a small Cockerpoo dog - you can care for her or we can take her to kennels.

It's a rural spot, near the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Sheep and cows are our nearest neighbours. Fantastic birdlife, squirrels and rabbits in the garden. Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with views from the house and garden of Yorkshire's Three Peaks. Yorkshire Dales nearby and easy access to the Lake District (half an hour by car). Ferry to the Isle of Mann close by. Trains to cities from local station (Bentham) or Lancaster train station. Edinburgh and Glasgow 2 hours by direct train, Manchester and Liverpool, Birmingham and London all easy to get to. Fantastic spot if you like walking, good food, welcoming pubs and wildlife.
