Our characterful cottage is in the centre of the old market town of Knaresborough. We are 1minutes level walk away from the market square (market day Weds) and the castle ruins. We are 5-10 mins walk away from excellent bus and train links and appprox 30mins drive from Leeds/Bradford airport.
Our home has a porch,large sitting room with woodburner and a kitchen/diner. Upstairs there are 3 rooms including our double bedroom plus 2 hobbies rooms. The bathroom is small but perfectly formed with a shower over the bath.
Outside we have a South facing walled garden on two levels (please note that there are 12 steps to the top level.) There's a spacious summerhouse for relaxing plus a "man" shed for tools and fishing tackle! It's lovely to hear the town sounds from the garden....church bells, the town crier, the silver band practicing etc. Street parking is available but we will share our permit with you to park at the church at the end of the road.

We also offer the use of our small static caravan which is sited nr Northallerton (25mls away) next to a fishing lake.


We have previously exchanged homes 20+ times before, all successfully and we are fully aware of the mutual responsibilities entrusted to both families in a house exchange.
