We like to exchange in summer holiday our lovely house to be in, with lots of sightseeing opportunities nearby, hiking, biking, watersport, beautiful nature and culture, welcome and enjoy.

Our house is a two level house at the edge of a quiet village at an small water, surrounded by farmland with Dutch cows, sheep and horses. We live in the typical Dutch countryside with meadows, waterways, and small (and sometimes old) villages. We have a sunny garden with a terrace on the water, where you easily can get into a canoe of a waterbike, or do some fishing. It is an great place to bike and hike.

Only 20 km distance from the university town of Groningen in the north of the Netherlands. Groningen is a beautiful old university town with a big shopping centre, museums, cinema's, theatre, discotheques, restaurants and channels. Here is also a large recreation area “Kardinge” with several sportfacilities, such as; a skiing hall, cart racetrack, indoor climbing and a subtropical swimming pool

It is only 1 1/2 hours driving from Amsterdam, and other big city’s. A day trip to one of the Wadden Islands (only 30 km to the boats) guarantees great enjoyment. In the Lake District (Friesland less than 1 hour) are also a lot of possibilities for water recreation and you can visit the many old towns.
