Description de notre maison d'échange
Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with lovely views of the Kerikeri Inlet. Perched above the trees, with plenty of deck space to appreciate the coastal and bush scenery all around you. Open plan kitchen, dining and living area with comfy furniture and all the gadgets you need to keep in touch with the outside world. Two double bedrooms - one with a queen size bed and the other with a double divan bed. Roomy bathroom with bath and separate shower. Separate toilet and laundry facilities. Deck barbecue, and living room wood burner to keep the house cosy on cooler days. 3-bay lock up garage. Help yourself to our vegetable/herb gardens, and explore the native bush below, where North Island Brown Kiwi live. Use our kayaks to discover the sheltered inlet at the bottom of our section. Please Note: While our house has three bedrooms, only two bedrooms will be available. The master bedroom/ensuite will be used for storing personal items.

A welcoming neighbourhood within a peaceful coastal cul-de-sac. Ake Ake Track and the Kerikeri Cruising Club are within walking distance, as are Opito Bay and Doves Bay. Aroha Island Eco Centre is also within walking distance, or you can drive right onto the island via a causeway. Centrally located within the beautiful Bay of Islands, we are only 15 kms from Kerikeri, NZ's Top Town in 2000 and home to the country's oldest European buildings. We are only 30 minutes from one of New Zealand's top tourist destinations, Paihia, and 30 minutes from the internationally renowned Kauri Cliffs Golf Course.

The vibrant and progressive town of Kerikeri is only 15 kms away and is home to NZ's oldest wooden building, Kemp House (1821) and oldest stone building, Stone Store (1832). Take in a movie at Cathay Cinemas or a show at the Turner Centre. Sample fabulous fresh local produce and boutique wines, and experience local talented musicians at Saturday's Farmers' Market. If you can't make it on Saturday, there is a slightly smaller Sunday Farmers' Market. Paihia, rich in history, and a great place to explore the Bay of Islands, is only 30 minutes away, as is the internationally renowned PGA golf course, Kauri Cliffs.

Prefer a non smoking active couple. We will be away for 2 months. Our house will be left clean and tidy and we'd appreciate it if you would leave it in the same condition. Exchanger will need to use own computer as ours will not be available. All doors to be locked when away from house. Pot Plants under the eaves and the vegetable garden will need watering. We'd prefer experienced drivers with a clean driving record, with some experience of driving on the left side of the road. Suggest exchanger study New Zealand's road rules before using our car.
