We are active empty nesters in our 60's that like cycling, mountain biking, sailing, bush walks and most outdoor activities. We love to travel and usually have an overseas holiday a year. We are semi retired and now offer our family home in Lincoln for exchange.
We own a caravan so an option for non simultaneous exchange is available.
We are looking for exchanges in Western Australia in 2024 and Europe 2025 Aug/Sept/Oct
Always open to a New Zealand exchange.

Description de notre maison d'échange
Our 3 bedroom home is in the heart of Lincoln, 15 minutes from Christchurch. We offer our near new 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with small fenced back yard, bbq area and spa, for national and international swaps.
We are only minutes from the Little River cycle trail and many other accessible trails around Christchurch. Being just a short drive or bus ride from the city of Christchurch, everything it has to offer is on our doorstep.

Description de notre quartier et ses alentours
Lincoln is a rural university town and has lots of Cafes and restaurants. As well as a supermarket, petrol station, library, small shopping centre. It has a market day every Saturday.
Bus transport to Christchurch city and surrounds is available however there is a walk of approx 1km to closest bus stop so we recommend use of a car for your stay.

From our home it is a short walk to a Cafe, restaurant, bakery, gym, and three playgrounds. A further 1km is the main shopping centre with chemist’s fish & chips, hairdresser, library, And several take away food places a pub and several restaurants. Liffey Spring Wetlands and river walks are only 1km away.
The Mt Hutt Ski field and Mountain bike trails are only an hour drive away. The town of Methven, close to Mt Hutt offers thermal pools and cafes'.
Akaroa Harbour is also only an hour away, French colonial village and offer dolphin watching as well as plenty of cafes & restaurants. A great day trip.
Further away, 2 hours is the Alpine village of Hanmer Springs. Famous for its thermal pools, bush walks , mountain biking and skiing in the winter.
