Apartment in an old prison (urban renewal) with great decor. Amased by the tranquility here. I was given several bikes to choose from and a lot of good advice and made it both to the new harbour of Rotterdam from 2014 and to the annual festival North Sea Jazz Festival. Thanks Mieke!

In the stylish and modern furnished apartment on the grounds of the former prison you can hardly live more quietly! Through the floor-to-ceiling windows you can see flowery front gardens and small meadows. And around the unusual residential complex you will find a lively multi-cultural quarter on the one hand and a cozy canal on the other. With bicycles you are in no time in the world of modern Rotterdam with its skyscrapers and its architectural highlights such as cube houses, market hall and depot etc. A mixture that leaves nothing to be desired! A really nice swap!

Een weekend hebben wij doorgebracht in de wereldstad Rotterdam. Een fantastische stad met allure. We hebben ons heel welkom gevoeld, dank voor de verwennerij en gastvrijheid! Fantastisch dat een parkeerplek zo met elkaar geregeld kon worden. Een fijn appartement, smaakvol ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben het dit weekend als een thuis ervaren. En dan de tips in de map, daar hebben we dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt. Mieke, dank je wel, het was een zeer plezierige ruil! Wat ons betreft voor herhaling vatbaar!

We had a very nice long weekend exchange in Rotterdam, in our home country. Miekes apartment is very comfortable and beautiful decorated. The location of her apartment could not be better, right in the centre of the city. Public transport is just around the corner but when you like walking you don't need it. If you want to see a very interesting city, different from Amsterdam, go to Rotterdam!
