We love to travel in Europe, with a preference to be in an urban setting where we can do most activities on foot. Our favourite activities involve getting to know the neighbourhood, interacting with the shop owners, cafes and going to the daily or weekly markets. We love good food (both of us are accomplished cooks) and we enjoy having a coffee at the local cafe or a pint at the neighbourhood pub. We are also very interested in wines and local specialities. Opportunities to attend art classes (watercolour) and explore libraries are a bonus, and we love to visit gardens.

Our home is located near transit to downtown Vancouver (5 km, 20 minutes) and many of Vancouver's attractions are within a 20 minute drive by car. We are in a quiet residential neighbourhood, yet it is only a five minute walk to trendy Main Street with many shops, restaurants and cafes. Some of Vancouver's best dining is only minutes away.
