Doug and Veronique’s home was a wonderful base for us to visit with family and friends in Montreal and to explore the city. It’s a bright, open, comfortable home with a fantastic deck in the back yard - we entertained some family members one evening, dining on take out. There are a good number of restaurants in Verdun, and Wellington street is a short bus ride away. We also loved the sesame crust pizza from Mory’s. Walking around the neighbourhood and along the river was very pleasant. Access to downtown was easy: either a 15 minute walk or a bus to the metro stations gives access to downtown and all that you could want to see. If you’re looking for a comfortable home in a quiet corner of Montreal with good access to its central sights, we recommend Doug and Veronique’s place!
