We are a family of four. We have done 4 previous exchanges so far and in two of them took care of pets (dog/cat). We think you'd love our neighborhood if you're interested in visiting Iceland. Our cat, Romeo, would need minimal tending to.... although he does love some attention in addition to his food.

Spacious family home in lovely neighborhood with a sweet outdoor cat that will need feeding. Close to biking/walking paths taking you to seashore/nature and city center (5min by car). Iceland is an exciting destination with lots of sites to see year round:

Very nice neighborhood near downtown Reykjavik. Easy access to bike/walking paths that take you to many local attractions, with bus stops and shops nearby.

You can walk/bike to the seashore and to parks in the neighborhood. Really nice public swimming pools, heated with geothermal water, are also within biking distance, as are public parks and museums. There's shopping just up the street (bakery, supermarket, pizzeria, cobbler, florist etc) and bus-routes 11, 14 and 18 stop nearby; these take you downtown, to the National Museum, to the ice-rink and small zoo/amusement park.
