We are Paddy and Val, a married couple together 35 years and living in Kilteel the last 23 years. We have 3 Teenagers, 2 boys 19yrs & 17yrs and a girl 18yrs who do not always travel with us. We all enjoy the easy way of life here in Kilteel but Dublin City Centre is only 1/2 hour away.
Paddy is a Builder and Val studies Pharmaceutical Bioprocessing.
We have a dog called Bob who will be minded by friends.
First exchange in Finland summer 2013.
Our second exchange Barcelona summer 2014.
Third exchange Toulouse, France. 2015.
Easter week in Copenhagen 2017.
Three wonderful weeks in Canada 2017
A week in Kerry, Ireland 2018
Fantastic week in Alkmaar, Holland 2019
We are looking forward to many more adventures in the future.
We have not travelled since 2019 due to Covid and now feel comfortable to holiday again as we are fully vaccinated and boosted, and hopefully Covid levels will fall in the summer months as they have done since the pandemic started. Ireland is one of the most vaccinated countries in the world per head of population with 94% of over 12s fully vaccinated (January 2022). All Covid restrictions including bars and restaurants have now been lifted.

We live in Kilteel which is a small elevated village bordering Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare. We are beside to the N7 which will take you into the centre of Dublin (12 miles) away or going the other way to Naas and onwards to the south of the country.

We were on Homeforexchange which is now Lovehomeswap and our exchanges can be viewed there also.
We have been exchanging since 2013 but do not like the way the site has been commercialised by the use of points as it takes from the real spirit of genuine exchangers who like the idea and cultural part of it as well.
It is important for us to find our house neat and tidy when we get back
