We are a family of 2 adults, 3 children and granny. Our boys are aged 6, 8 and 10 years old. Our home is very family friendly with all home comforts for both children and adults. We would love to do an exchange with similar families to our own. We love outdoors, sport, cycling and running in the local park.
We have no pets and we like going the beach and eating out in nice restaurants

Description de notre maison d'échange
Our family home is located a few minutes from Dublin City centre whilst also having the largest city park in Europe (Phoenix Park) literally on our doorstep! Phoenix Park is one of the only parks with native deer still rambling within its walls. The amazing Dublin zoo is a 5 minute walk away, you can hear the monkeys in the evening around feeding time! We are 5 minutes from the major tourist attraction of the Guinness Storehouse, a must visit. In the city centre, you can visit Trinity college, Kilmainham jail, Dublin castle, Christ church Cathedral, many world class museums and find entertainment on every corner! There is lots to do for all ages! Dublin has a number of Michelin starred restaurants as well as wonderful options for all budgets. Check out our national sports Gaelic football and hurling in the nearby Croke Park, with matches on every weekend! The 3 arena hosts concerts weekly from Snow Patrol to Kylie, something for all music tastes! You might even bump into U2! Dublin is a perfect base to explore the rest of Ireland, we are 2 hours from Galway, Cork, Belfast, Limerick, Wexford, all with many fantastic sights to see. We have the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Glendalough, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Giants Causeway, Wild Atlantic Way, Skellig Michael, Cong, just to mentition a few of many amazing tourist attractions in Ireland! Our home is only 15 minutes from Dublin Airport, so you wont have far to travel once you step off the plane.
Our house is a clean, spacious and modern family home with a large kitchen/dining space and a luxurious sitting room with a large smart TV. The games room has an Xbox and a comfortable recliner. There are 3 large bedrooms:- the first bedrooms has a queen sized bed, the second bedrooms has a double bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 showers. We have a 7 Seater automatic car and bikes/scooters for use in the nearby park.

Our neighborhood is very quite, we live on a cul de sac yet we are very close to the city centre and within a 2 minute walk to the phoenix park. Most theatres, museums and galleries can be reached on foot or by the regular bus services which pass 3 minutes from door every 10-12 minutes. Our neighbours are very friendly and we have a reliable baby-sitters available if this is required.

Our house is within a 5 minute walk to the shops and a 2 minute walk to the largest park in Dublin. Phoenix Park is a wonderful space for walking, cycling, running or just chilling! The zoo is a 5 minute walk away, a hugely popular attraction! Locally, we are lucky to have local gastro pubs a few minutes walk away where you can enjoy live irish music nightly and eat beautiful locally sourced food and even locally brewed craft beers/lagers. There are brilliant playgrounds for children in the phoenix park and you could also bring a football for a kick around too! Buses run from outside our house to city centre every few minutes and in the city, as well as attractions galore, the shopping is phenomenal with every shop you can think of there! We have a Tesco and Lidl close to the house for grocery needs.

We would like the family to leave our house in the same condition that you get the house when you arrive and we will do the same to your house. We have a 7 seat family car with lots of toys for small boys (ages 4 - 9 years old). The main house rule is that there is No Smoking allowed.
Ideally we are looking for a 2.5 weeks exchange in Europe.
