Our house is located in a friendly and quite suburban area, to the north of the city centre. It takes a 15 minutes bike ride to the centre but you can always take public transport just a couple of blocks away. We think our house is spacious and there is a nice sunny garden.
In the neighbourhood you'll find lots of shops, take-away and a weekly market at a 5 min walk. Our house was build in 1930 and we think it is very comfortable. It has 3 floors, including the attic with 2 bedrooms and a large cellar.
We have a cat Tommy who is very easy-going.

30 min to the beach, 15 min to historic Delft, 50 min to Amsterdam or Antwerp. You can cycle in 20 minutes to the shopping centre. You can start a walk straight from the front door to the river "De Rotte" or the forest "Lage Bergse Bos". There is a beautiful zoo, we have several musea, swimming pools and lots of playgrounds for children. In 15-25 minutes the tram (2 min. walk) takes you to all these places and to the train station.
There are several boat trips in Europe's biggest harbour.
