Description de notre maison d'échange

Just beside the Saint Medard church (15th century), in the heart of the Mouffetard quarter in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, this 900 sq. ft apartment has a lovely garden terrace facing south with an exceptional view overlooking the Rue Mouffetard and the Place Georges Moustaki.
It is made up of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 toilets and a large living area (450 sq. ft) leading to the terrace (approximately 250 sq. ft). It is very comfortable with all the equipment necessary: washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, printer, tv, dvd, stereo, ..., and 2 upright pianos.
Great location in one the best areas of Paris with a unique view. A magical experience!

The Rue Mouffetard is well known for its gastronomic shops. Within 1 minute walk, you have: 2 butcher shops, 3 vegetable shops, 2 fish shops, 4 cheese shops, 4 wine shops, 2 chocolate shops, 4 bakeries, 2 pastry shops, ..., and even a supermarket.
It is a pedestrian street with a unique atmosphere, very Parisian, but with good vibes. There is a musical ball on Sunday morning, plenty of cafés and restaurants, a little movie theatre, ... Museums, gardens, ..., are within walking distance.
As for pubic transportation, a subway station and 3 bus lines are 1-2 minutes walk away.

Be careful with the stereo system and the speakers, the pianos (no drinks on it), the paintings, the photographs, the LP's, ...
Cooking pans, pots, knives, wine glasses, and some cooking tools don't go in the dishwasher (Should be hand washed). Rinse well what you put in the dishwasher.
Take care of the cooking equipment (high quality): don't scratch non-stick surface, heat up slowly and cool down slowly the pans (avoid thermal shocks), ...
No shoes inside the house. No smoking inside, but you can smoke on the terrace.
