Thank you Cornelia and Johannes for a really wonderful exchange! Our first trip to Germany was a joy and your lovely home made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Your complete notes about what to see and do we’re so helpful. There is so much to experience in your beautiful part of Germany! Düsseldorf was a delight with its many amazing art museums and public sculptures and seeing the cathedral in Cologne was a thrill! The lovely art museum in Solingen was a delight to tour as well. And when we’d come back from a long day of seeing the sights, dear little Schnuki would be there to welcome us home. We will have many so many wonderful memories to savor!

Thank you so much Johannes and Cornelia for sharing your lovely home with us! We had a fabulous holiday in Solingen-Ohligs and found so much to do in the area. Shnucki the cat was delightful and we also loved seeing all the birds, red squirrels and even a hedgehog in the garden. The information about the local area was very well organised and you had gone to a lot of trouble to print off timetables and provide details of local walks etc. We felt very at home in the house and garden and made good use of the local shops in the area. The whole experience was a perfect example of a great home exchange and we hope you enjoyed our house in Sedella as much as we did here.

Dear Cornelia and dear Johannes, The discovery of Germany and your region of the Ruhr was a first for us and we did not sulk our pleasure. We were dazzled by the historical richness of your heritage: museums, cathedrals, Rococo castles, medieval treasures and industrial sites that we had the privilege to discover with a lot of privacy (a rare positive side of the pandemic). We also appreciated, after these long days, to enjoy the quietness of your spacious and comfortable house where Schnucki, the hostess, was cuddly and very easygoing. Thanks for these great vacations (and the good Riesling bottle ?). Tschüss!

Johannes and Cornelia, Our house swap with you was certainly a dream come true. We were able to enjoy your area in Solingen with ease thanks to your specific and detailed descriptions of things to do in and around your home. Using your bikes were a joy, experiencing a Bundesliga soccer match in nearby Düsseldorf with the enthusiasm of the fans, and, upon your return - sharing time over several meals were lovely time spent together.
