Our home has a spectacular view of the water and Vancouver Island but if you wish to venture farther afield it is a short walk downhill to Dundarave Village where you will find a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and shopping. You can also walk on the Seawall to Ambleside Park and Beach a distance of 5km. Within a 10 minute drive you can also be walking in old-growth forest trails where you will never know a large metropolitan city is so close by. The location of our home is a wonderful combination of natural beauty and amenities.

Vancouver is an international city with a spectacular natural environment close to the ocean and mountains. Watersports, hiking in the mountains, international cuisine and world class art and museums are all within a 30 minute drive. The renowned year round mountain resort, Whistler (2010 Winter Olympics), is an easy and beautiful 75 minute drive. Ferries to Vancouver Island are 15 minutes from our house and the ferry ride takes 1-1/2 hours passing some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
