From the moment we were collected from the ferry terminal we knew we had made the right choice in exchanging with the West family. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and meeting them face to face was a real bonus. The house was amazing having the advantage of both being very quiet and peaceful but also having modern facilities and excellent WIFI. The house is surrounded by woodland and they have many birds and animals in close proximity including humming birds, red squirrels and deer which we could view from the house. They also had several hens and we had an endless supply of fresh eggs! We were also made to feel very welcome by the West extended family who invited us for meals and walks. Our exchange partners also took great care of our house and left everything clean and tidy. This was our first exchange and it is one that we will judge all future exchanges by!
