Janice and Brian have a beautiful home, with amazing views over a lake. They were very easy to communicate with, and very considerate about our lack of snow/Canadian winter experience! We would encourage others to try a holiday in this winter wonderland. As a bonus, we were welcomed into the local community by Janice and Brian's lovely neighbours. So we thank the Black Lake community as well as Janice and Brian for this opportunity to experience a Canadian winter. (and another bonus - when we arrived home, our home and garden were exactly as we left them - all had been beautifully cared for).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ottawa. Brian & Janices' apartment was really lovely, very comfortable & had everything one could possibly need! The location was perfect for getting into the city easily. There were plenty of restaurants, & parks nearby. Brian & Janice met us at the apartment & showed us how everything worked which is always really helpful. Our stay was short, so we unfortunately didn't meet them again, but are looking forward to meeting them again in Australia at our house.
