Hiking, golfing and visiting whisky distilleries are among the activities you can pursue nearby. About an hour by car from either Glasgow or Edinburgh, in a pleasant country village with easy foot access to dining out, classic pubs, groceries and services.

There are two bedrooms plus a combined living room/dining room and a compact kitchen. A laundry room and extra toilet are also on the ground floor.

The village has great shops including a butcher, bakery, deli, fruit shop, chemist and hair dressers. Not to mention a couple of restaurants and a fish and chip shop,
