Our home backs on to Griffith Woods with walking and jogging trails. There are also many golf courses in the area. We are 20 minutes by car to Bragg Creek which is a lovely rural village with excellent x-country skiing, snow shoeing and hiking trails. We are also 20 minutes to Canada Olympic Park (COP) with day and night skiing in the winter. We are also just an hour to the Kananaskis Village with a Nordic Spa, world class golf facility in the summer and skiing in the winter. Canmore and Banff are 60 and 80 minutes away by highway, all worth visiting. Calgary itself has many interesting activities from the Calgary Stampede and Folk Music Festival in the summer and theatre and music venues in the winter.
