**We have agreed an exchange for July and August 2022.**
Large period house near city centre with stunning panoramic view of Edinburgh Castle.
The house is in a very green area - a five minute walk from beautiful Inverleith Park and the Botanic Gardens.
Our large living room on the first floor has a sofa bed and is mainly used as a fifth bedroom. We have a contemporary living room with wood stove on the ground floor and the kitchen/dining room is also used as a living room.

Description de notre quartier et ses alentours
Edinburgh is one of the world's most beautiful and historic cities. In August there is the famous Edinburgh Festival. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverleith We are lucky enough to live in a desirable neighbourhood of Edinburgh with mainly 19th century houses. Beautiful Botanic Gardens and Inverleith Park with tennis courts, a play area and a large pond are just a five minute walk from the house. It takes only 15 minutes on the bus to reach the heart of the city and buses are every 5-10 minutes.. it takes less than five minutes on foot to reach, shops, a pub and cafes. The back garden is spacious and secluded with a fabulous view of Edinburgh castle. Silvernowes beach can be reached by car within ten minutes and the Pentland Hills are about 30 minutes away.

Inverleith is a very green residential area. The Royal Botanic Gardens and neighbouring magnificent Inverleith Park are about a seven minute walk away. We are a three minute walk away from shops including a flower shop, a vegan and a traditional delicatessen, a pharmacy, hairdressers, optician and two bars including The Herringbone which serves craft beer and cocktails as well as decent meals such as fish soup, sole, and speciality burgers.
It is a lovely 20 minute walk to Stockbridge with many independent shops, bars and restaurants. A further 10 minute walk takes you to the town centre. Alternatively you can reach the centre from a bus stop one minute from our house, which takes about 12 minutes.
