Sleeping in shouldn't be a problem unless the birds chirping wake you. We are a 10 minutes walk (750 metres) to the bus stop, close to Brisbane train services and only an hours drive to the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, The Scenic Rim and Somerset Region.

The front of the home has master queen bedroom with en-suite plus lounge room. The back of the house has laundry, bathroom, toilet and 2 bedrooms; 1 has a queen bed and the other 2 single beds. In between is the open plan kitchen, dining, family room which leads out to covered patio with bbq and a lawn area (if we have enough rain). The front yard is well kept so the lawn is usually green and there is a driveway to lock-up garage with internal door to the kitchen.

We are 5kms from the heart of Ipswich therefore it is a cheap taxi ride to the many restaurants and bars which can be enjoyed well into the night. Five minutes drive away is a large park, across from the supermarkets, take away food places, retail stores, doctors and dentists. Ten minutes drive takes you to Queens Park or Ipswich Railway Workshop Museum and 30 minutes drive has you at Willowbank International Raceway.

Ipswich, as well as the surrounding areas of The Scenic Rim and the Lockyer Valley Regions, are great places for outdoor activities like hiking, bush walking, water sports, fishing and kayaking on the Brisbane River is within a 10 minute drive. Being an hours drive from The Gold Coast means a day trip to the Theme Parks (Dreamworld, Sea World, Movie World) are all possible too without the added expense of accommodation.
