We were very pleased with the layout of the home in that it was easily cooled with a fan when the Brisbane temperature reached over 30 degrees - we did not need to turn on the air conditioner which was available. David and Lesley's home is quite convenient to shopping and the train station which makes for easy access to Brisbane . We especially liked their back verandah which we made use of for each and every meal we had at their home. It was especially pleasant to watch the sunset with a glass of wine in hand after the evening meal. Our five week stay was a wonderful experience and trust that perhaps at a future date we may have an opportunity to exchange homes again. Claus and Rosemary thank you both for this exchange

Lesley and David‘s lovely home is well located for trips to the city, out to the coast or into the very varied hinterland. Excellent public transport links make everything accessible - we loved the mix of cultural and sporting opportunities, alongside relaxing beach days. The Peters home in Brisbane provides a beautiful old Queenslander home exchange experience, together with a stunning tropical garden both indoors and outdoors. The home is well located for excursions into the Brisbane CBD, Sunshine Coast and hinterland. Everything was well communicated and organised including a seamless airport car exchange. Thank you David and Lesley for a very pleasant and comfortable exchange in your beautiful Qld home. Communication was excellent before and during our time there. Public transport was only minutes walk away, and a short trip to be right in the centre of Brisbane city and the river. The city is a real buzz with excellent restaurants and bars. We loved our stay in Lesley and David's home. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had open and easy communication with Lesley both before and during he exchange. The home in Windsor is close to the city (3 train stations) so it's easy to access all sorts of activities and attractions. It is a very comfortable and well appointed home and we were thrilled to have our first meal and a batch of muffins left for us by Lesley. The car was excellent for getting about and we ventured further afield to explore some surrounding areas. Pointy the cat was very loving and no trouble at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lesley and David's lovely Queenslander home. It suited our needs perfectly for visiting our daughter and her family in Brisbane and they very kindly ensured their home was well equipped to welcome our young grandson there safely. We loved spending time on the spacious open deck and were happy to care for the lush greenery, as well as their two friendly cats. Pre-planning all went smoothly and it was great to be able to coincide our travel so we could meet up at Heathrow at the beginning of our exchange. Our home, garden and car were well cared for by the Peters - so all in all a great experience and we look forward to meeting up again on future visits to Brisbane!
