Description de notre quartier et ses alentours
The apartment is in a familial small building. There is a real neighborhood life thanks to the typically Parisian bistro's Jean-Louis, just below, where local people come for their morning coffee, lunch and dinner. We are in the bottom of Montmartre, but not the turistic part. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area and also plenty of small and nice food shops and small supermarkets too.

As you are in Paris and in the bottom of Montmartre, there is everything (but the sea and moutains!) around : cafés, shops, museums, theatres, concert places, etc. The Puces de Saint Ouen (flea market) is also 15-20 minutes walk from the apartment. For children, you have also parks. There are 3 metros around the apartment (Lamarck Metro -the Amelie Poulain metro- is 8minutes walk, Guy Moquet is 10 minutes walk and Marcadet-Poissonnier is 12 minutes walk). You have just in front and beside the apartment, 3 really usefull bus lines (31, 60, 95).

It is a familial building so it is important to be respectful of neighbors. You can smoke at the windows livingroom but reasonably (our daughter lives here also). It is important to sort the waste and put it in the proper garbage cans located in the yard (glass, packaging and normal bins).
