Nice appartment in lovely family house with gorgeous garden in Munich (22 square metres).

This house has belonged to my family for 40 years and our family and friends have had countless gatherings and parties in the huge garden. While in the meantime we have moved to Frankfurt (look for my offer on homelink for a full house to swap) we offer a 1 bedroom appartment in the souterrain here which is available in principle all year round (unless friends or we ourselves are using it). This means the appartment is open to swaps anytime of the year. It has (of course) a separate entrance, a kitchenette with a stove, a fridge, an oven, a basin, a cupboard and dishes / cutlery etc. Moreover, the appartment has a separate bathroom with toilet and shower. Then it has a dining corner and two beds. One or two kids could in addition sleep on the floor (we can provide mattraces) or in the beds if put together as a double bed. Finally there is also a closet to hang clothing. Despite being in the souterrain it is a bright appartment with the sun shining into the south western windows. And: If you are in Munich you will use the appartment for sleeping only anyway. You will either explore the city. Or you will take a rest in our extraordinary garden.

The garden is about 600 square metres and has a swing and a slide for the children. It is surrounded by huge oaks that are 100 years or older. You will have your own terrace at the end of the garden opposite the swing. Come here in summer and the garden is in lush green with plants growing all around.

Our kids' granny has built the house, and she lives in the appartment on the ground floor. She will be happy to provide you with great ideas what to visit. She is an expert on the Bavarian kings, their castles and other sights in Munich and beyond. And she is a great chef :-). But she can also advise you on activities close to the house: Just take a 20 min. walk and you are at a wonderful lake to swim in.

Or you take the train and in 90 min. you are at the beautiful and famous Bavarian lakes or even at the foot of a mountain to start hiking, climbing or skiing in the winter.

This is perhaps the most beautiful scenery in Germany and you are in the middle - discover it! Be welcome!
