Our house is located in Frohnau which is one of the most popular suburbs/ residential areas of Berlin. Frohnau was planned and created in 1910 as the ‘Garden City’. So you will mostly find houses with gardens for one or two families. In the small center you will find shops to get everything for every day life (supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, restaurants).
Our house was built around 1930. It has three floors with a overall 185 m².
On the ground floor you will find the open kitchen area and living room. It is shaped like an L and thanks to windows on every side it is quite bright. There is another room on the ground floor that we generally use as an office or for recreation stuff. Finally, there was also a small guest toilet.
On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with a double boxspring bed. In addition, there are two smaller bedrooms of our kids (5 and 2 years old). The bathroom on this floor is about 11 m² big.
On the third floor under the roof there was another area of about 40 m² including the second bathroom.
