My name ist Stefan an I am working 20 hrs/day as a caretaker for the company, which runs the building where I am living. I do not have a a car - therefore no carchange is available. I love to travel around - as in former times I have been working as a flight attendent for Lufthansa. Somestimes I Travel togehther with my 20-year old daughter - she lives by the way next door. This is a very nice and common situation for us. I will prepare my appartment for you nice and clean and you will find some food/drink for the first start. A supermarket is around the corner - 5 min to walk. This market is open 24 h/day, except saturday nights closing at 11 pm. Have a nice stay in my home. Best regards Stefan

Description de notre maison d'échange
Welcome to Berlin - welcome to my flat. (2 separate rooms + kitchen + bathroom). I live in a very quite and green area in the South-West of Berlin, public transportation is very close and takes you in appr. 30 min from our bus station to downtown e.g. to Kurfürstendamm, Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate etc. Check public transportation: www.bvg.de : Am Eichgarten to Potsdamer Platz
Please note, that I have a dog (of course not in the house during your stay) - it is a small one (Type: Coton de tulear - described by wikipedia:.... "this breed has very low allergic effects....does not have the common "doggie smell" .
The appartment is in the 4th floor - no elevator available
With respect to our - mostly older neighborhood - I prefer a change with people coming to Berlin for sighseeing/visiting. The younger generation - coming for nightlife/party may check out other place. Many thanks for your understanding.

Sehr ruhige Lage - trotzdem zentral, da die Verkehrsanbindung super ist. Stadtpark hinter dem Haus. Ein Hallenbad mit Sauna ist 10 Gehminuten entfernt.
Quiet area - but centrally located (thanks to good public Transportation). A park is directly behind the house. A public indoor Swimming pool with Sauna is only 10 min to walk.

Eine Shopping Meile (Schloßstrasse in Steglitz) beginnt am Rathaus Steglitz - 5 Busstationen entfernt

The appartment is directly next to a nice park with childrens playground - also nice for Jogging or just Walking in fresh air
To our 24h-Supermarket it is only 5 minutes Walking - around the Corner
A Shopping street with several Malls is located at Rathaus Steglitz - 5 Busstations to go

Children are welcome - but we do not have anything for babies/smaller Children in our appartment (No toys, sanitary things, Chairs for children etc.)
