Sonoma is a welcoming community settled by many Italians who greatly influenced the cheese production, wine making industry and our vibrant culture. Our house is walking distance to historical Sonoma Plaza with magnificent park, shops, restaurants and wine tasting rooms (bocce courts)! Excellent area for hiking and biking. The city hosts a party every Tuesday evening in the plaza. Bring your picnic and wine , or buy it at the kiosks that sell food and beverages in the plaza. You will discover why Sonoma is such a popular vacation spot for so many visitors from all over the world.

While our home is within walking distance to many attractions, take our car to many more. San Francisco is only a hour away. Napa is a 15 minute drive. The Pacific Ocean is less that an hour by car. London State Park and Sugarloaf State Park offer hiking, trail biking and sightseeing and are a short drive through beautiful Sonoma Valley. Young children will love Train Town in Sonoma while teenagers might prefer a short drive to 6 flags amusement park. Sonoma has 450 wineries and nearby Napa has an additional 400. However Sonoma is also know for some of the best craft beers in the nation and world class cheese producers. There is a lot to do in Sonoma but make sure to take time just to enjoy the beauty of our valley.
