I'm offering a cozy 2-story home situated along the Russian River in the redwoods of Sonoma County in Northern California. I am retired and active in the local comedy scene, particularly in nearby Santa Rosa where I am a member of Evil Comedy. I do stand up, improv, and sketch comedy. I'm also a docent at the Armstrong Woods, where I have the great fortune to share my love of the redwoods with visitors from around the world.

The home is very quiet, though you are likely to hear the sounds of nature from time to time. Guerneville is a quaint village. Our population doubles in the summer with the tourist season. The walk into the village is about a mile and crosses the river over a footbridge. There is wine tasting in the village and all around the area where I live. There is also a 'cheese trail' worth exploring.

The boats I have available for you to use are two kayaks -- one is one person and the other is for two. Kayaking is only possible in the summer months when the dams are in. I have wheels to attach to the bottom so they're easy to take to the river. It's one of my favorite hobbies, and because kayaks are quiet, they're great for seeing the local wildlife.
