We have had a wonderful time there and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful Hamburg, Lubeck, Bremen and Luneburg. We thank the family for the suggestion to discover the places by very cheap and easy public transports. Hamburg is a interesting city offering lot of fun. The comfortable apartment is very nice and ideal for families with children. Thanks to Monja and husband for their kindness.
My husband and me we had a nice stay in Monia's house in Hamburg. It's a functional and very silent flat in a central part of the city. Bus and metro and trains station are near so all the places to visit are easy to reach. The house is overlooking a pleasant private garden. We only used the master bedroom but there is another bedroom if you are with your children. Monia gave us all the infos needed for the use of the house and how to visit the city. Hamburg and its river are interesting to discover and by train you can go in the interland. We went to a nice small town Stade that we liked very much. Monia was so kind to leave food and drinks in the fridge and we only take care to refill it when we left. I really suggest a swap with this family. Picci Manzari
Monja and Guidos home is a very nice and calm apartment in Hamburg / Schantze. Close to public transport to the rest of the city and lots of splendid local cafes, restaurants and shops. Perfect location for exploring the large and exciting capital of northern Germany. We had two wonderful weeks with our grown up children, we saw as much we could and still there is many things to be seen. Hamburg haven't seen the last of us! Many thanks to Monja and Guido for letting us stay in their lovely home - and love to Jonna and Neo ;o)
We spent a few days in Hamburg. The apartment of Monja and husband is pretty well equiped and we felt really comfortable while there. The place is in a very well located area in center of the city so we could walk for hours and hours enjoying the so many nice places to see. Public transportation is OK, near home we had the Metro station . May is a nice time to go to northern Europe, but it was a bit chilly and rainy. One day we even had a hail storm. The city has many places worth to be seen, but you can also take a train ride to the near cities of Bremen and Lübeck, it is fantastic, just like being in the medievo age! Thanks to the Marlburg family. We were lucky to meet in person and they are a very nice couple with two lovely little kids. If we ever return to Hamburg we should contact them by no doubt!. Cheers!
