  Abbiamo soggiornato durante le vacanze di carnevale dal 21.02. al 29.02.2020. La casa è un tipico chalet di montagna con uno splendido giardino e vista sulle montagne. All'interno è molto spaziosa, confortevole e provvista di tutto il necessario. Una bellissima vacanza nel Cantone Vallese. Grazie di tutto. Gianluca, Erica e Agata

• Eine traumhafte Woche im Wallis

  The week we spent at the chalet in Savièse overlooking Sion exceeded our expectations in every respect. Käthe and Karlheinz provided a total experience, with a warm welcome, introduction to local wines and foods, valuable tips and materials for hiking and sightseeing, and insight into living in Switzerland. The apartment at the ground floor was perfectly equipped and offered a splendid view of the surroundings and the mountains across the valley, which we enjoyed from the covered porch during meals. We recommend this exchange opportunity enthusiastically!

• Super chalet, super région !

  Nous avons passé une excellente semaine chez Kathie & Karlheinz. leur chalet est très bien agencé, très confortable. La vue depuis la terrasse exceptionnel ! Le soleil était au rdv et nous avons pu randonner chaque jour. Au programme, tout près : Mt Prabé, Plan des Roses depuis Tseuzier, 2 bisses et un peu plus loin : 4 glaciers (Aletsch , Plaine Morte, Rhône, Tsanfleuron) Au retour, nous avons retrouvé notre maison comme nous l'avions laissé . Nous recommandons vivement un échange avec cette famille !

• A warm welcome in an alpine paradise!

  Col and I had a most wonderful stay in Katie and Karlheinz’s chalet in Saviese. Not only is the location a sheer delight but, most importantly, we were made to feel very welcome by our lovely hosts. The chalet is just delightful. It is comfortable, spacious and impeccably presented. From the windows at the front of the chalet a magnificent view of the snow-covered alps spreads out before your eyes. For Col and I this was an alpine paradise. Katie and Karlheinz made us a lovely meal of local cuisine and advised us on some of the not-to-be-missed attractions of the region. Among many other things, we visited Zermatt, took the Gornergrat Railway up towards the Matterhorn and visited beautiful Montreux on the south shore of Lake Geneva. We also took the opportunity to dine in a couple of the fine restaurants which are nearby to the chalet and enjoyed them both very much. However, the most impressive part of our visit was meeting Katie and Karlheinz and forming a friendship with them. We are very grateful for the warmth of their welcome, and for giving us the opportunity to stay in their beautiful home. They came to stay in our home in Woolgoolga earlier this year and they were delightful guests. They left our house in perfect condition. We enjoy their friendship and hope to catch up with them during our visit to Europe in 2018.

• Holy COW!!! What a view!!!

  What can we say! Our hosts were wonderful, informative, prepared, thoughtful and our accommodation was just as advertised; an idilic Swiss ski type chalet up in the mountains. Right out of a picture book! Sion was close, but not too close as were groceries. And the home is located in a perfect central location for exploring the mountains of this region, in EVERY direction. The hiking, biking and spectacular vista are endless. WOW! Thanks for the great stay! It was a treat getting to know you both. Regards ps, thanks for all the gifts! Our home was also left spotless.

• One of the best exchanges we have ever had!

  Our exchange with Karl Heinz and Katie was one of the best exchanges we have ever had. They were very welcoming and we communicated a great deal before and after the exchange. As this was a non-simultaneous exchange, we were able to meet them at their home for a few days while they stayed above us in another apartment. They treated us to a typical Swiss lunch and gave us so much information about the country. Switzerland is unbelievable! Karl Heinz and Katie gave us great directions and over the two weeks that we spent in their home we tried to see as many of these wonderful places there and learn more about the country. We were successful and would love to do it again. I must comment on their home.. They even had a basket of various sized slippers at the front door! The kitchen and refrigerator were stocked with basics and allowed us to make many delicious meals. The view was incredible. We often sat at the table outside and watch the planes flying through the valley below us. I highly recommend these wonderful people and their home. They left our home in fabulous condition as well. Thank you Karl Heinz and Katie!

  We had a wonderful visit with Katie and Karlheinz. Their chalet is really well appointed and presented and is situated on a mountain side above Sion with the most spectacular of views. We found Katie and Karlheinz wonderful hosts. They are a really generous and friendly couple. They were able to provide really helpful advice on what to do and where to go and in Sion and surrounds there are many attractions. Katie and Karlheinz are good walkers and we were very fortunate to share some walks with them. On our recent trip to Europe this was a very special stay for both Helen and me.

  Dear Karl and Katie We enjoyed our stay in your comfortable flat very much! We felt immediately at home, specially after a long day out in the international city (Geneva and Lausanne). No noise, only a beautifull chalet into the Swiss alps. It was very nice to meet you in Domodossola. The Valais is really wonderful and we hope to come back one day.   Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Haus von Käthe und Karlheinz. Der Blick vom Essplatz auf der Terrasse auf die Berge war gigantisch. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet mit allem erdenklichen Equipment. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt um das Walis zu erkunden.
