We are a family of four people.
Our daughters are already grown-up. They might travel with us if the time allowes them to.
Laura lives and works in Regensburg and Hannah works as a dental assistent near Raisting. She lives still with us.
Christine works as a quality manager and Hans works as a service manager (food&beverage) - both in an International Leadership Center of a large industrial company.
We´ve already had 9 wonderful home exchanges in Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Côtes de Provence, Delaware (USA), in Norway, in Strassbourg, in the region of Lauragais near Toulouse and in Antwerp.
We love to travel, to explore new countries, cultures and history. We like to meet people very much.

Our nice home (130qm) is located near the Lake "Ammersee" (3 km) in a small village called "Raisting".
Mountain view, very quiet, beautiful landscape, typical Bavarian beer-gardens and restaurants around.
We live in a flat in the ground floor. It has a large modern kitchen combined with dining room and living room. From there you reach the patio and the garden with barbecue. Further three rooms for sleeping, one bathroom and a separate WC.
The area is famous for excellent touristic holidays. Five lakes around for swimming, surfing, sailing, diving, going by steamboat or to ride a bicycle.
Munich with it´s famous touristic attractions, beer-gardens, shopping malls, cultural facilities like theaters, art galleries and museums, fabulous restaurants and night-life is 1 hour by car or by train.
The Alps you reach by car in 45 min. (e.g. Zugspitze – highest German mountain). Great possibilities for hiking, climbing, paragliding, skiing, ice-scating.
The castles “Neuschwanstein”, “Herrenchiemsee” or “Linderhof” of King Ludwig are nearby.
Salzburg, Innsbruck, Augsburg or Nuremberg are all reachable in 1 – 2 hours by car.
Famous monastery “Andechs” with it´s own brewed beer ( 10 min. by car) or monastery “Benediktbeuren” (45 min. by car).
Legoland is 1,5 hours by car.
Many low cost airlines fly to Munich Airport (1 hour by car) or to Memmingen Airport (45 min by car).
Car exchange is possible, if necessary.
From Raisting you can go by train directly to Augsburg or Weilheim (nearest town) or with changing trains to Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen or anywhere else.
Kind, helpful and English speaking friends can help you in any affairs if needed.

In our house lives another family with 3 girls and another couple. All of them are very helpful. You can have a walk directly from our house into the nature around. You´ll see cows on the field and storks on the roofs, as well as typical Bavarian farms.
