Our house is a garden suite of a 4-plex in a quiet residential neighbourhood (Mount Pleasant) of Vancouver. It is located within a 5 minute walk of public transit and shopping and close to downtown. The suite is approximately 900 sq. ft with a fireplace, open concept kitchen/dining/living room, and in-suite laundry. French doors in the living room open onto a private patio and there is a second entrance to the laneway in the guest room. The guest room is currently used by our daughters (two single beds). We have a queen size air mattress and comfortable couch/sofa for extra guests. There is a free parking spot available off the laneway, but we use the local car-share, transit, and our bikes (which would also be available for use during the swap).
