We custom built our home in 2010 and completed our downstairs garden suite in 2015. The garden suite is self contained on one level with it's own private entry. The suite is almost 2000 sq ft with 2 large bedrooms w/full ensuites (the second bedroom has a bunkbed and we can add in a roll-away bed if needed), a living room, kitchen, cold storage room/cellar, a media room, washer/dryer, large patio and flat walk out to the backyard. In the yard we have a small trampoline and a 2 level built in sandbox that the kids love. For the adults and older kids we have a pond with waterfall and firepit to enjoy. Our property is on a full acre, backs on to a forest and has a great view of the mountains and Anmore valley.

From our home you can walk 7 minutes through our back forest to a set of powerlines where you will be welcomed with a spectacular view of downtown Vancouver, Georgia Strait and Vancouver Island. To the west you can hike down to Sasamat Lake and to the east down to Buntzen Lake, both take 25-45mins depending on the speed you walk and which trail you choose.
